As described on the Acom linear repair page where I had to replace a RFC on the wattmeter board I built this simple switch arrangement to bypass the linear when it is not in use.  It is very simple and built on stripboard.

When this is switched off the output from my radio completely bypasses my amplifier and goes directly to my atu.  When switched on it directs the radio output to the input of the amplifier and the amplifier output to the atu.  Simple but effective!

I have tested it for insertion loss using my NanoVNA and it measures at around 0.2 dB ...... it's not the best but I think I can live with it!

Linear switch   Linear switch - input

Linear switch - outputs   Linear switch - internal
